Programs and Services
The Center is committed to our mission by offering a wide range of specialized and community services. Our programs provide support to enable children with disabling conditions to remain at home, teaching parents to be successful advocates for their children, working to transition children successfully to public school settings, and educating public organizations. Together we are placing children on a path leading to the achievement of the child's full potential.
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY AS TO STUDENTS: As a member of the Massachusetts Association of 766 Approved Private Schools (MAAPS), we have a long history of non-discriminatory admission of students. Students of any race, color, religious affiliation, national and ethnic origin are admitted to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to all students at our school. We do not discriminate against students who qualify under the criteria of the school's admissions policies in either admissions or in the administration of educational policies or in the delivery of programmatic and therapeutic services including athletic and other school administered programs or in the administration of scholarship and loan programs, if applicable.

FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES IN EARLY INTERVENTION - HOW CAN WE HELP?
Families in our program sometimes experience a variety of often difficult situations. Some children are in our program because of family problems. Other families are concerned about their child's development or medical diagnosis. Sometimes it helps to talk with someone about these situations and experiences.
Early Intervention honors the family as a whole. We believe that anything that will help family members deal with their experiences and questions about their child's future will be helpful to all family members. Our primary goal is to provide services that can strengthen the family and support the work you do with your Service Coordinator.
Please tell us if your needs are not addressed so that we can find other ways to meet your individual family needs. Call Ellen Waddill, your Parent & Community Liaison, or ask your service coordinator to bring her out on a home visit.
We do have ongoing parent support groups including those for families who have children with Down syndrome, medical or health care needs, and Autism. Let us know if you would like to join or start a group.
