WAYS TO GIVE
Donations allow The Professional Center for Child Development to provide vital services to children and families living in northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. There are several ways to make a donation:
Gifts of checks or payment on-line support us and provide a charitable giving tax deduction to you.
A contribution in memory or in honor of someone is a wonderful way to recognize an important individual or life event. We will send written acknowledgments to the donor and the individual identified in your contribution.
Many corporations match their employees’ gifts to charitable institutions, often dollar for dollar, up to a maximum amount. Donors must acquire a matching gift form from their or their spouse’s employer, complete the form, and then send it to The Professional Center for Child Development for processing.
GIFTS OF SECURITIES
Transferring securities, either stocks or bonds, allows donors to make gifts, receive charitable deductions equal to the full fair market value of the securities, and avoid paying capital gains taxes on the amount of the charitable contributions.
We welcome gifts in kind donations from individuals, as well as organizations. In particular, we regularly accept gifts of services and goods towards events. We also collect many items for auctions, raffles and prizes for events. In-kind gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
